The Nature Zone is a place where kids, adults and friends can connect with nature. Growing up exploring the outdoors, playing in the woods and observing nature gave me insights I've used all my life. My love of nature has given me the opportunity to travel and consult for The Royal Botanical Gardens in England, The Bellaggio Casino in Las Vegas, and also NFL, MLB, and collegiate teams. In addition I've had the pleasure to lecture in Ireland, England, Hawaii, Bermuda & throughout the US.

Today it's more difficult for our children to experience the freedom of the outdoors in the same way many of us experienced it. Most parks and playgrounds are designed to reduce insurance liability at the expense of exploration and discovery play. Electronic games are fun, and computers are becoming a necessity in our busy lives, but just passing time can never replace the lessons we can learn from nature. We are directly connected to our environment and must take every opportunity to instill this understanding in our children.

The Nature Zone is dedicated to help parents, educators, and children have fun connecting with nature through crafts, nature walks, research activities and creating wildlife habitats.
